Alpine Lodge

Alpine Lodge is a truly superb property in an idyllic, lake side location.

The seven lakes at Pentney are surrounded by 275 acres of unspoilt woodland.

This famous site is a paradise for fishermen, birdwatchers, walkers and cyclists. The Premier ski-school offers water skiing and banana boat rides, bookable and payable on site. There is also a bar and restaurant with a children's playground opposite.

To take full advantage of its perfect location and spectacular views, the living space at Alpine Lodge is located upstairs. The extremely spacious top floor measures 17.5 long and 7.7 wide. It has full length balconies at either end where you can watch the sun rise or sun set over the lake.

The beamed, vaulted ceilings are an impressive architectural feature of this property. The comfortable sofas, log burner, 60 inch television and pool table make this an ideal space for celebrating a special occasion with family and friends. At the opposite end is a fully fitted kitchen and large dining area.

On the ground floor are four bedrooms, one king, two doubles and a twin room each with its own ensuite bathroom.

The local area offers a wide variety of attractions for all ages and interests.

The historic town of Kings Lynn is only a 15 minute drive away. Other nearby places to visit include Castle Rising Castle with its impressive Norman keep and the priory ruins at Castle Acre.

Travelling along the road to North Norfolk are the many wonderful beaches including Hunstanton and Holkham. On the way you can visit the royal residence of Sandringham House, Houghton Hall, Holkham Hall, Titchwell nature reserve and many quaint and picturesque towns and fishing villages.

In the winter months this part of Norfolk is visited by coaches full of tourists who have come to see the internationally famous Thursford Spectacular Christmas Show. The stately homes at Sandringam and Holkham host Christmas markets. Their interiors are decorated beautifully and the grounds at Sandringham are lit up at night with illuminated walks. The Sheringham Steam Railway offers Christmas on board and visits on the train from Santa.
