Two great properties in beautiful locations
Ridge Cottage is a two minute walk from the beautiful Hunstanton beach. Families spend many hours paddling, swimming and picnicking on the silver sands and dunes. Guests come to stay all year round as the local area provides activities and places to visit to suit all ages and interests. It is on the coastal path for those who love to go for long walks with family and dogs. The famous bird reserves are visited by people from all over the I.K. Nearby are many stately homes, including Sandringham House, Holkham Hall and Houghton Hall. They all host Summer Fairs , country shows and concerts. In the winter the houses are beautifully decorated for Christmas and have illuminated walks through the grounds and woodland. The world famous Thursford Christmas show is a 30 minute drive from the cottage. There is so much to do and see in this beautiful part of North Norfolk all year round.
Alpine Lodge
We bought the lodge this year and have spent many months on its restoration, ensuring that it provides the same high standard of facilities and decor that achieved us the award of Super Hosts for Ridge Cottage.
Alpine Lodge overlooks the beautiful Pentney Lakes. It is one of the few lodges with a lake view. The lakes are set in acres of woodland. Guests come for a truly relaxing holiday in this tranquil haven. There is much to do. Walking, , birdwatching, bike rides and learning to water ski at the nearby water ski school. The local area has many attractions within a short drive. Stately homes, beaches, nature reserves , Park Farms with children's play areas and quaint villages with award winning gastro pubs. At the end of a busy day enjoy a drink whilst you sit on one of the two balconies and watch the sunset, that this part of Norfolk is so famous for
